Answers from your own material
You create an assistant for each kind of call, such as job interviews or client meetings, and add your files and prepared answers. When the other person asks something, a reply appears in a few seconds, in the language of the question.
It works with Meet, Zoom, Teams and any other call app, because it listens to your Mac's audio. The window stays hidden when you share your whole screen.
What you need
- A Mac with macOS 26 or later.
- A Claude or OpenAI API key for the suggestions. Or, if your Mac has Apple Intelligence turned on, the free on-device model.
- Transcription: on your Mac for Portuguese, or through OpenAI with your key for English and Portuguese.
Install in four steps
- Open the file you downloaded and drag NoteAssistant to the Applications folder.
- Open NoteAssistant. macOS says it cannot verify the app, because NoteAssistant is not distributed through Apple. Click Done.
- Open System Settings > Privacy & Security, scroll to Security and click Open Anyway next to "NoteAssistant". Enter your Mac password. You do this only once.
- The setup window asks for the microphone, system audio and your key, and explains each one.
New versions install from the app: NoteAssistant > Check for Updates.
